Valencia Football Club (Valencia Club de Fútbol, SAD) was founded on 18th March 1919. Its stadium, The Mestalla, has a capacity of 55,000 and right now, the new Mestalla is being built – it will be a truly modern, spectacular stadium.

Valencia Football Club is the third most successful Spanish club in terms of international accolades just behind Real Madrid and Barcelona F. C. (7 titles). In the historical classification of the LFP Valencia CF ranked fourth, and is currently the fifth Spanish club with the most national titles. VFC formed part of the now defunct G-14.

Valencia F. C. is the 17th richest club in the world grossing €107.6 million per year (2007) and was named the best club in the world in 2003 by the Federation of Football History and Statistics.
