Living in Valencia allows you to fully develop your knowledge of Spanish; however a basic knowledge is fundamental. The training centre, under the direction of staff from The University of Valencia, has developed a programme of learning comprising small groups for enhanced learning, allowing you to hit the ground running.
This is a marathon, not a sprint!

VALENCIA FOOTBALL CLUB The combination of language learning and the extra-curricular activities on offer, this course allows you to achieve noticeable results week in week out, and to explore new avenues into the history of a great club such as Valencia FC.

 

PROFESSIONALS All teachers taking part in this project are Graduates of Hispanic Philology, with broad experience of teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Also, the Centre for Languages of The University of Valencia strives to provide teachers with a great passion for football to achieve a greater connection between staff and students. THE LEVELS In total, we offer five different learning levels, all of which are governed by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Students will be proficiency tested and then placed in the appropriate class accordingly. The levels are: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2.

	LANGUAGE LEVELS
A1	BEGINNER. Little or no previous knowledge.
A2	ELEMENTARY. Knowledge of basic grammatical structures.
	LOW-INTERMEDIATE. Basic understanding of general structures. Limited expression.
B1	INTERMEDIATE. Easy manipulation of day-to-day language. Limited grammatical style.
B2	HIGH-INTERMEDIATE. Solid understanding of nearly all texts. Strong grammatical comprehension.
	PRE-ADVANCED. Excellent command of vocabulary and grammar.
C1	ADVANCED. Communicates with ease. May lack specific vocabulary.
C2	ACADEMIC LEVEL. Communicates fluently at an almost-native level.

KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON YOUR PROGRESS The Academic Director will personally monitor the course progression ensuring you are getting the most out of your experience. Upon arrival, you will receive a proficiency test. All students are fully tested before being placed into the appropriate level groups, allowing us to form groups of similar proficiencies.

Continued evaluation throughout your stay
Your progress will be evaluated every step of the way with a variety of tests. At the end of the course, every student must complete a final exam. All testing is carried out exclusively by the Centre for Languages of The University of Valencia in order to ensure that each student has achieved the basic goals set out at the start of the course.
